Silvereen Micro Credit Company was incorporated on 2nd October 2008 in Central region of Sri Lanka, by its founder Chairman Dr. A.B.G. Seneviratne. SMCC is one of the fastest growing micro finance Organizations in Sri Lanka, having provided over Rs.360 million loans and has maintained 100 % on-time repayment rate. (portfolio at risk ratio with a zero percent). The membership outreach has increased to 29000 by end of September 2010.
